Be part of history as Joy in Motion brings Brazilian Zouk to Spokane for the very first time. Never tried Zouk before? Perfect. This workshop series is designed for you!
What is Brazilian Zouk?
Zouk is a beautiful modern partner dance known for its flowing movements and deep connection between dancers. Think of it as moving meditation with a partner.
TWO ENTRY-LEVEL WORKSHOPS:
• FLOW: Master fundamental movements
• SWIRL: Learn essential turns & partner connections
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE:
• Take both workshops in one weekend
• Spread them across two weekends
• Join all four sessions to deepen your practice
January Weekend:
• Sat, Jan 25: FLOW (1-4:30pm)
• Sun, Jan 26: SWIRL (1-4:30pm) + Social Dance (5-9pm)
February Weekend:
• Sat, Feb 1: SWIRL (1-4:30pm)
• Sun, Feb 2: FLOW (1-4:30pm) + Social Dance (5-9pm)
Each Sunday ends with a Zouk with Joy social dance to practice your new moves.
